Where do you get your information? Orthodox Jews have no rules against non Jew visiting their synagogues, just cover your head and you are , if not welcome, allowed in. And your earlier story about Jews not allowing conversion is just as bogus, different "sects" have different standards, and that is all. What is against Jewish religion is proselytizing, and forced conversion of others is a "grand sin" (unlike the forced conversion the Inquisition practiced-convert or die). A Jew is not supposed to solicit the conversion of others either. Yet, the Jewish tradition is full of "converts", from King David's Mother all the way to my own family (in the last seven generations we had three women in the "line" that converted to Judaism). In the 10th or 11th century a full nation, supposedly converted to Judaism (the Kuzari), but all these are willful conversions. Jewish law as laid down by Moses even grants converts (Ger) special rights in society, like those granted to orphans and widows, namely it is the society's special burden to support those newcomers to Judaism, just as society must support orphans and widows. After all, the Rabbis make it difficult to convert for one simple reason, you really really have to want to become a Jew before you can be one.
