The flight suite is the cover-all type, it's the same one that NASA issues except it's blue. Has all the zippers as well as the leather name patch with winds just above the name. It's also got the Space Camp patch, NASA patch, and the patch of the most current shuttle mission. He couldn't figure out why the zipper down the front of the suit had to zipper heads and it worked like a sleeping bag. I told him that when an Astronaut was in space or for that matter, a pilot on a mission, they didn't want to have to unzip the whole suit just to pee. Then little Missy piped up and asked what do they do for the girl pilots, is there a zipper down there for the girls? I couldn't answer that one so she's e-mailing NASA to ask them.

I'll leave space travel to you, I'm not that keen on pulling more than 1 g myself. :-)

The National Guard came and went. They have an investigation going on because they passed a motorist who was in the process of going over a bridge and did nothing to save the occupants after pleas from the people they were evacuating. Several people in the back of the NG truck told them about the situation, they even said that the drivers looked and then just went on. The motorist truck got caught up in the fast running water and was tettering on the railing. On lookers who were waiting their turn to be evacuated tried to pull the couple out but the water was too high and they lost their grip. It's alleged that the National Guard trucks could have attached a rope to the truck and pulled it off the railing saving the couple from drowning. Some have suggested that if the NG had gone and attempted a rescue, it would have endangered the lives of the 40 or so people they were evacuating to higher ground. Some on lookers who attempted to save the couple said they were almost swept away themselves. That whole situation is very sad.
