PPG the magic number for me, across a season, and across a career, which means playing hurt if you have to, getting in the minutes, putting the ball in the air, drawing fouls, and then sinking them when you have to.

Goodness, I've never seen so many meaningless and twisted stats before, all of which are geared to support the wrong point. BTW, you continue to exaggerate when you intimate Iverson sinks crucial free throws, as a great scorer. He didn't sink them when he precisely had to, in this series.

Try this stat: Lakers 12 Championships, 8 in L.A.

As for PPG, the fact is, Eric, you could be the League's leading scorer too; given 9 or 10,000 attempts, you too could lead the league......but I wouldn't consider you a great scorer.
