Mike, I think AMAT is one of the most solid tech stocks around on a long-term basis, that would be at the top of the list. Others that I think are pretty solid are ALTR, TXN, FLEX, and maybe EMC , NOK or INTC. Having said that, I have some money in some smaller tech stock plays also such as PWER and SNDK, and probably too much in the bandwidth related stocks that are getting taken out and shot right now (PWER is in that group).
