Bob,
Market did this rebound after breaking 2000 intra day at the end of april also. When we stop focusing on these warnings and start looking out 2 quarters is what breaks the cycle which is now 6 days down. Maybe oracle will change the mood monday after the close. Things are in place for a recovery but at the bottom nobody believes it will come. AG might do another 1/2. Positive signs usually are 6-9 months after first rate cut. Looks like 9 this time around at best and the market is already in the time frame to anticipate that economic rebound even if it starts 1/1/02 which is 12 months. Lets get thru this week and next even and I would expect a summer rally. Alternative is a painful retest of 1650 which i believe will hold. Mike
