For someone with the namesake of "American Spirit" you have no guts. People have been saying for centuries that America would not work. It started with Great Britain and continued all the way through to the USSR. We all know how the American experiment worked out. So now people like you are saying a missile defense will not work.

Please refer to your Bible, the book of Genesis. And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Genesis 11:6. This verse is the Lord's response to the Tower of Babel. However, its meaning equally applies to any venture man puts his mind to accomplishing. Do you really believe that anyone could conceive a nuclear weapon in the 1930s? So whether its a nuclear bomb or missile defense it can and will be done.

The subject of missile defense is not a Conservative/Liberal or Republican/Democrat issue. It is a matter of our nation's defense. The world is a dangerous place and I would rather trust my leaders whether Democrat or Republican versus any leaders of Europe.

I don't understand why normal thinking people would be against a missile defense. Conventional weapons will not protect you and me from ICBMs. Please explain to me what you are afraid of with missile defense. Is it just a liberal bias? Even Clinton was for a limited missile defense.
