Jon, I've always tried to answer questions as best I can, but no one ever asks any. As a result, my posting is almost always solely intended to defend the company and its people against attacks by Digrdug and his followers. Anyway, what I understand you to say is that you and others would like to see a firm date announced, on which the company will proceed with the best deal that it has negotiated at that time. I wouldn't mind seeing that either, but I don't think that any kind of negotiation can be done with a deadline. If the party that you are negotiating with knows that you have a deadline, all he has to do is to wait you out.
