They're one and the same. The 30-year bond is the bond backed by the full faith and credit of the U. S. government. It's a guaranteed rate of return that is virutally risk-free.

Check. I had thought you meant corporate bond. I think I've established that I have no idea what I'm talking about, and that I'll just blindly agree with whatever you say.
