Justa: I tend to agree. The consumer will not easily open his wallet under these conditions. What I can't figure out is why is housing still up? Homes in my area are still selling in a few days and for more than the asking price. People are still buying much larger homes than they would normally, in my opinion. I know, interest rates, but you still have to make the payments.
