Jon, I was referring to any kind of negotiation. In our case, a public deadline would allow anyone TT is now negotiating with to simply stall until that date, confident that the company could not continue to pursue a better deal. I think maybe a date for a status report of the negotiations and current offers would be a better way to go.

You mentioned bankruptcy, which I don't understand. The company has never been farther from bankrptcy in the three years that I have followed it. GE has debt, but it's almost all in friendly hands. Even the Frost Bank loan is secured by the trust, and is current.
