Absolutely. The "faithful" will never see it that way though, as it would be too tough of a blow to their ego to admit that they were wrong and were SKEEEEEEEEROOWED by con artists such as R.H. Obvious now and too late after the fact, is the horrible realization that they (con men) had their own overriding motives at heart while putting forth a flashy car salesman like grin. The marathon analogies, and the "in it for the long haul until the end" types of promises were just empty words of hype and crap designed to hook some bait and allow an escape clause, which was excercised. Most "faithful" though still will always instead look for scapegoats, as admitting to their failure is too tough psychologically. Most investors cannot handle admitting they were wrong and dropped the ball long ago titled Own Due Diligence and Unbiased view.
