Good point. Most of this sector seems to be centered in MASS and CA. California congressional delegation might also get united behind any reasonable legislation. Congress has "changed face" to some extent, so I'm not sure where sentiment would come from to support status quo at FDA anymore. Is fear of "poison drugs" still that great? Or is the phony argument over human cloning taken seriously enough to hurt biotech research?
