John - you want my theory? This is a crushing bear market like you haven't seen, because you weren't born when the last one like it was unleashed. This "bull market" you point to? It is a bear rally within the larger context. Like Indian Summer: pleasant, but merely a blip in the larger trend. I'm too conservative? Perhaps. A conservative still wins in a bull market. But only a conservative fails to lose in a bear. So I will fail to lose and maybe win. That makes me ahead, on average. I don't need the big win. John.
