May book-to-bill numbers released on Thursday, June 21 will be a catalyst for the group. As a consequence, the firm is raising its price targets on Applied Materials (AMAT +1.0%) to 70 from 55 and on Novellus Systems (NVLS +3.9%) to 75 from 69... Most of these guys will disappear from this thread once 1213 and the lower levels are checked out. Like April 17th when we made that comment about the wall at 11320, the support around these areas would be equally timely, but who cares, right now the drop in comp 1980 has brought out a lot of scavengers from the den.. we will devour them like we did at 1500 and 438 SOX and 1080 SPX, look at their semis forecasts and read them, one after one you will know thye they are out of touch and blindly folowing a set pattern..I know well these are the same guys who were shorting on 24th March, 4th April and longing on 17th April as we were testing the resistance at 11320. Hindsight is always the best call.. they make it as if we are fools..but such is life.. waiting for these clowns to disappear soon..
