Results of testing G* text messaging on myself.

I composed and sent a whole series of out-going e-mails to my own G* phone.

I wanted to find out how G* splits up characters in the subject line, and in the "body" of the message section.

I sent messages such as :

Subject : 1234

Message : 5678

*************************

Subject :

Message : 12345678

*****************************

results :

For whatever reason, I received only the first text message quickly (and perfectly).

The others (I sent about five of them) did not show up quickly, and I got sick of standing out in the noon-time sun
(even with my hat on !)

(I will go out again later).

(By the way, when I sent some text messages out to my wife on her Sprint PCS phone earlier this morning, the first
few went fine, the last few did not show up in a "timely manner").

Regarding the format for G* displaying the subject line, etc. ...

The first example given above comes through as :

(1234)5678

Jon.
