That's correct.

Does 800,000 subs increase his credibility?

Would this be indicative of the difficulty of operating CDMA in a GSM stronghold ... sort of like Australia ... sort of like China?

Would this be indicative of the fact that to migrate from a (primarily) GSM network to a cdma2000 network for 3G carries a cost penalty?

Just wondering (how Telstra might flop in Australia).
