I have analog cable TV....RoadRunner also.

My setup exactly until I "upgraded" to digital cable tv signal.

tech guy who installed RR saying that the signal amplifier is not needed for digital cable TV because the digital signal does not degrade when split.

The exact opposite that my cable guy told me. I also think he might have been trying to get me to get another pay feed for my tv tuner card. The picture is superior IMO. No interference at all plus I get some extra channels....100 is better than 70...right? Can't imagine going back to pre-cable days. What did we watch! Most of the time I can't find anything worthwhile on 100 channels.

Let me know if you find out anything.

tc :-)
