Giddy, which of MOT's sectors do you see bringing in such amazing revenue growth to justify price appreciation into 100s in the coming qtrs? What new products & markets do you envision them to capture without facing fierce competition from other vendors? How is their messaging & media sector doing? What about their Semi Prodcuts Sector, SPS? When the entire Semi market is expected to grow within 9-12%, do you see MOT growing faster than that(and in effect reversing their previous trend)?

It is OK to play the momentum game of buying stocks that make new 52-wk hi, but let's not confuse the fundamentals of a company with the momentum game.

MOT has a tough road ahead. What sent MOT higher in the early 90s were a combination of booming Cellular market, robust Semi market, growing Paging market, & a decent market for their two-way products. Things have changed since then. None of these markets are growing at the same rate or with just one or two dominant players anymore.

Also as far as analysts(without getting into a discussion of how worthless some of them are), I wonder what their avg. target price is and within what time frame.

I wouldn't have had so much problem with this price movement if it had come after an excellent earnings report. Looks like once again, investors could be setting themselves up for a disappointment.
