PCCW STATEMENT ON PURCHASE OF STAKE IN INDIAN MEDIA COMPANY (The following is a reformatted version of a statement issued by Pacific Century CyberWorks Ltd. and received via electronic mail. The release was confirmed by the sender.) The acquisition of shares in I-Can was made in December 2000 by Corporate Access before Corporate Access was acquired by PCCW.
