President Bush was plenty smart enough to win election. During that process his competitor (Whopper Al Gore) looked like an idiot attempting to debate him. The question isn't whether George Bush is the smartest person on the planet. The question is whether he is smart smart enough to lead. Each and every day that passes, the answer to that is a definite yes. In less than 5 months, he's lead a bipartisan effort to craft the largest tax cut in 20 years. Clinton promised a middle class tax cut in his first term and then couldn't deliver on it. In fact, we later found out he was a conniver who lied about the entire thing in order to get elected. Bush has done what he was elected to do. He has the intelligence to treat the American people with enough respect and be straight with them. Demolibs like yourself, who are digging and digging for anything negative to paint on our President are looking more and more desperate every day.
