Tonight I listened to a story about the energy crisis in Brazil. The folks have been told to use less or it will be turned off. Outdoor night lighting is basically banned and even night soccer games have been canceled. That's serious. So why the problem. Well Brazil gets 80% of their energy from hydro power It did not rain and thus 24x7 power ain't. But I suspect that the meaning of this and the lack of wisdom of thinking that alternative energy can by other than an assist to save consumable's only with opportunity is lost on the vacant liberal mind.
