I bought some NVLS at $35 and sold it at $53. That indicates some conviction, I believe.

If "tiresome and boring" to some reader were a criterion to stop posting, there would be zero posts at SI.

I want to brag about buying NVLS at an average price of $30 and selling some years from now at $150. This will require me to continue to be patient and tiresome and boring.

Why don't I short? Last year, I practically begged a former co-worker to sell SDLI at $200. The stock rose to $450 before falling (as part of JDSU) to its current value of $40. I like strategic moves. Shorting is tactical and much riskier than any of my long moves.
