It is my understanding that Rat/mouse poison makes a Rat/mouse extremely thirsty after it/they dine. The Rat/mouse searches out water and drinks and drinks and drinks. As soon as the water reaches the poison, the poison begins to swell. Of course the more poison eaten and the more water drank the more swelling you will get until...................

Pop goes the weasel.

Moral of the story. The weasel usually goes pop at or near the water source. (At least we hope it does.)
