Tony - re: "Even though "records are made to be broken", I'm hoping McGwire's isn't." I hope Barry Bonds breaks McGwire's record by the All Star game. McGwire was such a stuck up phony snob at Oakland - my son and I waited many times for an Autograph after many Oakland games - and Mcgwire couldn't be bothered. As soon as he was in the limelight at St. Louis, he "suddenly" started signing autohgraphs when the news media was in sight. Then he copped Sammy Sosa's "heart thumping" and kiss-blowing routine = it about made me lose my dinner. I hope Bonds hits 80 home runs this year.
