Hi Bob,

You may be right - but Nortel now has the onus to prove to the market that it's not another Lucent. It's not obvious (to me anyway) and it will take time in any event. I'm in no rush to buy JDS as this goodwill issue will weigh on the stock and the recovery is still too far out; I wouldn't touch Nortel at this point or anytime in the next year.

For LTBH on JDS, the fall will probably present a good opportunity - but it may still be a slow grind back. Those frothy speculative days that marked the end of the bull are over!
