<All that fiber has to be lit with the type of equipment that Ciena manufactures. And it will be when the demand and dollars are there.> that is the big question, when? that comes to my mind after reading the front page NY Times article which today compared the optic fiber-laying to the building of the railroads in the 1870s with no last mile in both cases to the passengers.. will Ciena's main customers decline to buy now? Why do they need to buy Ciena's products anytime soon, things being as bad as they are? What if they just hunker down?? I know these questions are naive and at this late hour I can't think of who the main customers are. tia jhg
