Obviously Oakland didn't make McGwire happy like St. Louis does (it helps to have crowds at the park). ;-)

However, during the 70 home run season, he did put a lot of pressure on the fans who caught his homers to hand them over in exchange for signed jerseys or bats. If you held out to sell the ball later (or even just keep it for your own collection), reports were that he'd snub you and not even let you take a picture.

I don't think Mark does any Sosa moves - it's usually his high five/belly blow combination, and a salute to the owners box at home games.

And he does also give an enormous amount of money and time to his charitable foundation, a good practice that other Cardinals have adopted.

P.S. Look out for Albert Pujols - amazing at only 21 years old.
