I don't read a lot into futures at this point in the day, particularly mid-week. Pre-open announcements are usually Tuesday to Thursday, which can cause all bets made the previous night to come up snake eyes. What I am watching for are US unemployment numbers and their cascade effects. Less jobs, less consumer spending, more liquidation of stock assets to pay down debt, weaker home sales, real estate crash, mortgage failures and away goes the US Dollar. Could happen. The stock market isn't the only bubble. CD
