I've just been to dailystocks.com where I entered the ticker symbol AFLX and then clicked on Zachs earnings estimates and consensus, only to discover that the .26 figure for July which I give is erroneous, the consensus expectation is .17

But the few analysts who follow the company do have $1.50 as their estimate for next year. It's a figure I expect the company to beat.

I'm not an insider, just a reader of annual reports. And I am fallible. I bought my 500 AFLX at 19 1/8 last week, a fair near-term price but certainly not a good trading price. AFLX could revisit 17 next week.

My small-cap portfolio also includes Zytec, a more stable proposition. I recommend the annual report for its good news and exceptional clarity.
