Ray, I didn't tell those PTTs to participate in a self-defeating business plan regarding UMTS/3G. In fact I think it will be too expensive and I will settle for 2.5G as a CUSTOMER in any way because it will be way cheaper.. Back you up on your notion seeing those spectrum auction as a way to fill European governments coffers.. No problem for me - I will gladly pass by the 3G wireless "fad". No VALUE for me as a paying customer so I'll avoid it <g>? The you say "Anyone who has paid the least bit of attention the last few years realizes the stock markets are rigged, manipulated to inflict the maximum pain on the naive retail investor". Thats again a BELIEF and not a fact. It's ok to hold this view but you have to understand it's not the only view in town. It's true that the market's underlying valuation went from a PE view (years ago) to a PSR valuation (Price/Sales) to a marketcap perspective (where no sales were posted "yet") and now it's back to PE. IMHO what will be necessary to get a lift in the NAZ is a lift of underlying earnings. I'm sure it will come but being no prophet I just can't tell when´. So I'm waiting on the sidelines. For example I was able to gobble up FDRY under $10. They even had earnings and are less effected by telco spendin patterns. I cannot predict when they will be back to former profitability all I do know is the potential is there.. To me it's a waitin game. But I can wait (not being on margin in the market) LMDS/MMDS .. well why don't individuals just "band together" and SHARE an LMDS/MMDS connection ?? I could think an MDU in a "high tech friendly area" would be a real opportunity - at least a start of a bypass. Rates go down over time - again time on our side. rgds CROSSY
