Dear Doug:

It is a source of continuing mystery why so called "analysts" are not more proactive in looking at real trends rather than hype. The only reason suggested that fits is heavy investment in Intel soft shoeing bad results. If what has happened to Intel on the execution side happened to Ford, GM, Exxon, GE, IBM, or other such companies, their stock would have fallen to 52 week lows much earlier or almost right away. When will the inflection occur? Well any time now, but certainly, if losses were reported. Losses would force a reevaluation since there would be no profits to offset the smell. And the ongoing threat of future losses only will push the point home. Intel at $11 and AMD at $26 is less desirable than Intel at $26 and AMD at $62 for both companies. I would rather have the later than the former. Of that you and I could probably agree.

Pete
