My list is latin american because you had challenged my previous assertion that latin american countries did not have amongst the highest rates in the world.

I didn't challenge any assertion specifically about latin american countries. I did challenge assertions or at least implications that countries with illegal abortion have more abortions. I even more strongly challenge the assertion that legalizing abortion causes the abortion rate to drop, or criminalizing it causes it to rise.

You can make up any "coulds" and "maybes" you like. You could say that maybe there would be more mothers dying from the illegal abortions without the religious opposition to abortion, too. It is certainly up to you to determine your own "arguments." Obviously, I cannot disprove your "maybe", and neither can anyone else. If this is the final resting place of your "argument" that is fine. I cannot dispute a "maybe."

You make an assertion and I show how it possible could be false. That does not prove that it is false but it shows that you have not shown it to be true. I say "maybe" because the evidence does not prove that it is false. It doesn't prove that it is true either but you don't bother with maybe, you just imply certainty and then attack me for appropriately using the word "maybe". You say that "the statistics show very clearly...the religious opposition was not reducing abortions, but only endangering mothers". The statistics show no such thing.
