I'm with you on the bike tour thing. Rode my first century on my mountain bike on Memorial Day holiday (May 28), cranked out a half century up to our local ski hill Mt. Bachelor, last Sunday. vulcan.wr.usgs.gov

Anyway, he was part of an organization in Austin a couple of years back that had a catchy title: "The Committee For a Little Less Corruption In Local Politics". I think they folded too.

Now as far as separating facts from beliefs, do you think it is true (as some archeologists are claiming today) that the Canaanites never were in Egypt in 1200 B.C. and the Exodus is a huge metaphorical myth in the Bible? Oh, never mind. <w>

All I know is that the winners re-write history. So we can believe whatever we want about reality, and it probably is true.
