Intel is launching these speeds to offer a SPECTRUM of price points and performance for their Mobile Customers.

Do you think EVERYBODY wants - or can AFFORD - a 1 or 1.13 GHz notebook ?

Uh... Intel's 0.13 micron Tualatins can't compete with 0.13 micron AThWipers --because THERE ARE NO 0.13 micron ATHWIPERS !!!

My guess is that Intel's 0.13 micron Pentium 4 (Northwood) may scale better than anything AMD will have to offer in the next year or so.
