Les, I suspect you are trying to sort out the SOXX quagmire. I'm also having trouble figuring this index out short term. The gap below 575 is real, and should be filled sooner rather than later, however.

Zeev thinks the B2B number will be better than last month's number. I'm not too certain, but I defer to his greater knowledge of that sector.

As the SOXX goes, so goes the COMPX and NDX right now.
