Thanks for the article.

I agree with the article, that storage should rebound before the telco/network equips. NTAP can't, and EMC didn't, do the things CSCO and LU did (vendor financing, etc.) I have CSCO and JDSU on my buy list, but haven't bought any yet. Probably won't buy either until next year, at lower prices than now. One day I may have a portfolio full of single-digit Gorillas stocks........which is OK, as long as I bought them at single digits......

I think everyone has about written off 2Q01, and doesn't expect much from 3Q either. If we get the fabled 4Q01 recovery, maybe lows of the last several months won't be taken out. If we get to December, and tech CCs are still saying "next quarter will be worse, and we have no visibility beyond that", then NTAP and others could easily get chopped in half from current levels.

It feels today, about like it did at the beginning of April, and the end of last December. Not much panic, but not much optimism either.
