Taiwan's ERA to form joint ventures with CyberWorks 2001-06-20 Terms and Conditions ERA Group, Taiwan's largest cable television network, is planning to form two video ventures with Pacific Century CyberWorks, Hong Kong's largest phone company. CyberWorks is seeking to improve programming quality, ahead of its plans to charge users for its multimedia services. CyberWorks will invest US$10 million in the ERA ventures to develop programs and broadcast them using high speed Internet access. Last September, CyberWorks said it will take a 8.9 percent stake in ERA Communications and invest some US$50 million in the Taiwan content provider.
