Isn't Snap Track wonderful!!

SNAPTRAC "TRUCKING ON"

QUALCOMM innovates and as usual analysts and market yawn. QUALCOMM performs as promised with
government dictated, on time delivery of position location chips and carriers cry, asking for more time because the
technology is not ready.....oooopps I guess QUALCOMM has done it again I wonder what the carriers excuse will
be now?

Today QUALCOMM introduced a vehicle and equipment location technology to locate every piece of equipment in
UNITED RENTALS huge rental and leasing business. This is only the beginning QUALCOMM AND UNITED
RENTALS are seeking partners to create one standard for the entire industry. Komatsu now, CAT, John Deer,
Bobcat, Massy-Ferguson, Ford tractors, International in the future.... If you think cell phone chips are only where it’s
at think again.

So what you say.
Well I’ll tell you what.
Equipment gets lost. I don’t mean stolen - although this location technology will solve that problem hands down- I
mean when a piece of equipment is delivered to a jobsite and moved around a few times from job to job equipment
tends to go missing. Huge pieces of equipment- $250,000.00 earth movers, graders, cats, dump trucks get lost as
employees get relocated or moved to other jobs and all the sudden the equipment dispatcher asks, "Hey where is our
earth mover? And no one knows. The dispatcher now taps in the code for that particular piece of equipment, locates
it in a few seconds and sends out their lowboy to pick it up and on to another rental at $2,500.00 per week rent.
QUALCOMM has sold the ASIC and collects a fee on each message sent. Thank you very much.
This is OMNITRAC to the Nth degree. Taxi companies, delivery trucks, cars, kids, anything that is not nailed down
now becomes a business opportunity.
Most people do not realize the magnitude of the problem for rental yards and large construction companies just
keeping track of their assets. The trucking industry recognized this years ago and signed up with QUALCOMM for
OMNITRACS to the tune of 400K plus units installed. Well this is a drop in the bucket compared to this new
initiatives announced today..
Many didn’t see the value in the SNAPTRAC purchase, as usual Irwin and company "get it" and get it early in the
game. Finding new business uses for existing infrastructure is classic business 101.
QUALCOMMS’ management is second to none and that's one of the reasons I keep my money in QUALCOMM
and not gold....
