Folks, be careful with those naked puts. See what they
are doing to Dell <G>

public.wsj.com

Highlights:
---

- 91% of cash flow from operations went toward buying its
own stock put to it at upto $44
- Cash reserves are $5.27 billion. Liabilities to buy stocks
at an average price of $44 are $4.22 billion upto
May 2003 expiry.

Be careful when you sell "cash secured" puts to generate
income. What you are left with at the end of the game is
what really counts so make sure you really get the risks. <G>
