Pretty much agree with you here. I think WAT might hold up a little better as they have a longer earnings history and no QC problems. It could still hit the low 20s, and I would expect it to range from there to the low 30s for several months. Even as a strong Trickle proponent, I would caution about buying instrument companies. If the VD model was to choose any trickle company now, my vote would be for QGENF. Already pretty far down, and in the consumables biz, which ought to be less affected. Also more dominant in its niches than WAT and many other trickle companies, which ought to last for another year, at least.

Disclosure: I have an order in for a QGENF put sale that will trigger with another 1/2 point down. If anyone cares, I have a little more color on the WAT warning over on Trickle, having listened to the CC this morning (1 1/2 hours long!).
