It's all about funding, the competitive landscape for bandwidth, and the alleged bandwidth glut.

These are workable issues, IMO, funding s/b resolved upon CZN closing, GX's assets and cost structure appear to be more than competitive, bandwidth pricing market appears to be slowing in rate of decline.

Looking ahead a bit, an interesting question will be who will scavenge long-haul routes when the weakest of the crowd go toes up? GX has no dry powder, suppose WCOM will be a player and maybe the likes of Cable & Wireless, Hutchison Whampoa, BT, etc. Point being that to whatever extent there is a bandwidth glut, it doesn't go away just because of a few Chapter 11's, however that does give the survivors an opportunity to glom onto more customers during a competitor's reorganization.
