VIABILITY OF SFAM:

I am not in a position to really know, but my impression is that the merger presented such difficulties that they lost whatever momentum they had in the market, while the competition's technology advanced rapidly, and the competition's credibility and marketing capability vastly outstripped them.

A merger might be the best way to go. I would not know whose technology would be complementary and non-duplicating.
MTSN? However, many companies might shy away because they might not want to take on the "complication" and excess baggage.

Is SFAM doing anything to position themselves for such a
merger/acquisition? Or something else?

Namaste!
