But why does the "silent majority" stand for this?

IMO---too busy keeping up with car payments, soccer practice, TV, afraid, priorities.

Maybe something inside us...same thing that allows us to lock 300 dollars worth of lawn mowers and rakes and junk in our garage while the $37,000 car sits outside at night.
