Barrett also said that the company's support for Rambus memory
was no barrier to sales of its processors. As evidence, he cited the
arrival of sub-$1000 Pentium 4-based PCs. He also said there were
no problems with the supply of Rambus RDRAM. He did, however,
admit that the current economic climate had hit P4 sales.
