Hi Don, Agree with your take. Also noteworthy is the destruction of the American family unit in conjunction with the evident crime and moral decay. Last night, I saw on the local news a story of three pit bulls who viciously ripped apart a child in the Oakland area. Can you believe the owners of the animals were far more concerned with hiding there "pets" from the authorities than the welfare of the poor child who was riding his brand new bike for the first time in the wrong place at the wrong time.... My relatives (other than my immediate family: Mom, Dad, etc) all remain in Germany so I have some perspective as to difference between here and there. IMO, the family structure in Europe is not falling apart there as here. I think a strong family provides some moral guidance and values. Only in America (or so it seems) do we have kids going to school to blow out their peers brains on a more and more frequent basis. Too many violent videos and TV and movies? Very sad... seems each new generation raises the violence bar higher and higher.... There is a high price paid to focus on the greed and money. Who is to blame other than those who are and have been in charge? Best regards, Eichler
