why does the "silent majority" stand for this? I think because there is no "silent majority." The media cartels, amongst which are NPR and PBS, have worked with liberal organizations like the APA for ages to spread homosexual propaganda. Everyone knows homosexuality is a sickness, but it now looks a bit provincial to say it. We are such an image oriented society that even the hick in the woods is concerned about looking too much like a hick. The homosexuals have assaulted cultural morality directly. Nature itself forbids their ever long enjoying the same freedoms and acceptance as heterosexuals. But they have beat the culture enough into submission that they are near to entering something of a golden era in America. When it happens, it will be their undoing, just as it has always been. I have fought homosexuals (and won every danged time), but it takes quite an effort to do it. It also takes lots of money. Generally, folks can't be bothered with that. They fight only when something immediately dear to them is at stake. Ideals are things of the past.
