Bugs in his wildest moments couldn't possibly have imagined the symbolism of the used toothbrush in royal reptilian lore. How the sharing of personal effects represents the unity between far off clans distanced by time and nature. How the dried toothpaste-scum at the base of the bristles is universally acknowledged as representing the primordial ooze from which the first prehistoric reptile had strode forth onto this planet. And how the firm, yet pliant bristles, gently splayed by servitude to the teeth of the master represent the firm devotion of the pliant masses to the rule of royalty throughout the long and venerable history of reptilian life.
