Absolutely I do ODB (hey, aren't you 'sposed to be in jail?)....I am just thinking, in broader terms, about what is needed to really kill the speculative ferver that we've seen...especially in the latter 90's....to get people to the point that they are bored with stocks...I don't think that can be done in a year, year and half....I also think Wall Street needs to get embarrassed a bit more (make some really bad calls, everyone riding in one boat), to deepen the disillusionment...there is some disillusionment, but not enough...I think a bounce off the Sept. trendline (and especially a break of 2328), and you'll get every big house calling a double bottom and pushing shite to the moon....

A wash-out here (let's say below old lows) would frighten and disappoint a lot of people, but I don't think it puts a stake in the vampire heart of speculation....I guess I want the reaction on the downside to equal the reaction on the upside (the past few years)...for that to happen, we need some more great headfakes, IMO...Our "C" scenario would be one such grand headfake...
