I am perplexed as to why they sold the cash cow incumbent local exchange company (Frontier) to fund the debt. What makes me stick with Qwest (Q:NYSE - news - commentary) (and it isn't easy today) is that cash cow US West. Global doesn't have its cash cow any more. And that makes it a much tougher hold."
