Jan I treat covered calls like a dividend. But instead of waiting every quarter I get my dividend everytime the stock drops or as they decay. As the stock raises I sell the calls again I like holding the stock and trading the options. I'm getting a little more careful in this market. Personally I can't tell you where the market is going in the next 6-8 months so I'm holding cash and writting covered calls. Will P.S. I believe with-in the next 6 months we will see another correction. My gut tells me in the early fall or last summer so as soon as I see the market turn south I start buying a few puts. I think Northen Telecom puts will fall hard when the correction comes (also BCE). Both these starts have gone up to far to fast without any good support levels. But than agian I may be wrong!!!!
